The Hedge Witch's Herbal Grimoire

The Hedge Witch's Herbal Grimoire

The Hedge Witch's Herbal Grimoire is a collaborative creation written by Alison Garber of Native Apothecary and illustrated & designed by artist Adrienne Rozzi of Poison Apple Printshop. The grimoire profiles nine medicinal plants that grow in North America as well as other deciduous regions around the globe. This short book takes a brief look at the ethics and practice of wildcrafting (harvesting plants that grow wild naturally), common plants, and herbs for medical, as well as magickal, purposes. Each profiled plant is delicately illustrated along with their corresponding spirit animal and relative symbols. Their medicinal uses are touched upon, as well as their magickal properties. The Hedge Witch's Herbal Grimoire is perfect for beginners interested in herbalism and witchcraft, and can be used traditionally as a fountain of information or as a magical tool itself that aids in the quest for wholeness and enlightenment.

The Hedge Witch's Herbal Grimoire, second edition (2015) is a 28-page paperback book with gold foil accents on the front and back covers. Bound in black paper with pressed linen texture. Pages are made of natural-colored recycled paper.
